i have mixed feelings about this, but i'm rounding it up to 4 stars for the autistic and Palestinian rep!
i found Jessie to be a complicated character, like I liked her and felt protective over her but damns he was stupid sometimes. and I'm not being ableist, I'm autistic myself but she was infuriating in her love drama. i guess I just don't have tolerance to weird teen dramas...spoiler I was in Griffin's side from the beginning so Levi killed me... he was so annoying and only physically attractive to Jessie which I HATED! anyways I found the autisticness pretty relatable except I have the I dont care about romances autism... found the plot too repetitive... the school as supposed to be religious but kids were making out in public?! also everyone was so obsessed with romance/sex it felt very weird and disturbing for 15 yos! alsooooo I felt like I really wanted to know Jessie more... more of her relationship with family and friends and her special interests and stuff... not just boys...
