Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

1.0

I really enjoyed Harry Potter until I reread them. They don't hold up to any kind of critical scrutiny and this is the one where that becomes painfully apparent. It really highlights the fact that Harry is useless on his own. He doesn't accomplish a single task without help. And Voldemort, rather than simple kidnapping Harry from the beginning, comes up with a comically long and convoluted plan that barely works.

This is the book that made me no longer like Harry Potter.
