HOLY SHIT, I COULD NOT PHYSICALLY PUT THIS BOOK DOWN TO THE POINT I MOVED A MEETING TO FINISH IT!!!!!!!!!
Just to start there is no way of me not including spoilers so this review does contain a few spoilers although I will try and keep them to a minimum.
First off Aiden becoming likeable was not on my bingo card for this book, but hell we get so much soft Aiden especially near then end and during the scene where he is trying to save Elsa,
𝐼𝒻 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓉𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓁𝓎, 𝒶 𝓈𝒾𝓂𝓅𝓁𝑒 𝒻𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒷𝑒 𝓁𝑒𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓁 𝓉𝑜 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝒶 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝒹𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃. 𝐼 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝐼’𝓋𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝓈𝓉𝓊𝒹𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓉 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒾𝓉 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝐼 𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓃𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒾𝓁𝓁𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈.
𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓈𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓉𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓈, 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒹𝑒𝓇 𝐼 𝓀𝒾𝒸𝓀 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒹𝒶𝓂𝓃 𝒹𝑜𝑜𝓇.
“𝓢𝓽𝓪𝔂 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓶𝓮, 𝓔𝓵𝓼𝓪. 𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓭, 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻?” “𝓓𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓶𝓮?” 𝓼𝓱𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼. 𝓘 𝓬𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓬𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓴𝓮𝓭 𝓶𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓱 𝓲𝓷 𝓪 𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓬𝓴 𝓴𝓲𝓼𝓼, 𝓷𝓲𝓫𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓷 𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓽𝓸𝓶 𝓵𝓲𝓹 𝓵𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭𝓮𝓭. “𝓣𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓶𝓮, 𝓐𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷… 𝓣-𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓶𝓮…” “𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓸𝓹𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓮𝔂𝓮𝓼.”
Also the reveal of why Aiden loves Elsa and always wanted her is giving shatter me vibes and I am here for it,
𝐼𝒻 𝓌𝑒 𝓃𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝒹 𝒶 𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝐼’𝓁𝓁 𝒹𝒾𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐼’𝓂 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃 𝐼 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓂𝑜𝓈𝓉. 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒷𝑜𝓎 𝐼 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒𝒹 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝓈𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓃.
and the way this makes Elsa realise he wouldn't hurt her only people that hurt her is again giving Arron warnner and Juliet but if they were British and it was an adult book,
𝒟𝑒𝓈𝓅𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒻𝒶𝒸𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒜𝒾𝒹𝑒𝓃’𝓈 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝑜𝑜 𝒾𝓃𝒻𝓊𝓇𝒾𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓁𝓎 𝓈𝒾𝓂𝒾𝓁𝒶𝓇 𝓉𝑜 𝒥𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃’𝓈, 𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹𝓃’𝓉 𝒽𝓊𝓇𝓉 𝐸𝓁𝓈𝒶. 𝒩𝑜𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒶𝓂𝑜𝓊𝓃𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒸𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓅𝑜𝓈𝓈𝑒𝓈𝓈𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝐼’𝓋𝑒 𝓈𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝒾𝓃 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈 𝒾𝓃 𝓂𝓎 𝑜𝒻𝒻𝒾𝒸𝑒.
I also cant not share this quote I highlighted because I could not stop laughing for a few minuets,
𝓐𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓶𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽’𝓿𝓮 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓾𝓻𝓽 𝓶𝓮 𝓪𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽’𝓼 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓭. 𝓗𝓮 𝓭𝓸𝓮𝓼𝓷’𝓽 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓲𝓷𝓯𝓵𝓲𝓬𝓽 𝓹𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓸𝓷 𝓶𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝔂𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 — 𝓮𝔁𝓬𝓮𝓹𝓽 𝓭𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓼𝓮𝔁 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽’𝓼 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓹𝓵𝓪𝔂.
I mean get it girl I am the one reading this,
We learn a lot about Elsa in this book that we were missing, points from her childhood and how her mum actually died, we find out a lot more about her farther as well but I am gonna leave that because that is a major spoiler,
Someone explain to me how the proposal scene made me ugly cry,
“𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝐼 𝑔𝓇𝑜𝓌 𝓊𝓅, 𝐼’𝓂 𝑔𝑜𝓃𝓃𝒶 𝒷𝓊𝓎 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶 𝒷𝓊𝒸𝓀𝑒𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝑀𝒶𝓁𝓉𝑒𝓈𝑒𝓇𝓈.” “𝒲𝒽𝓎?” “𝐵𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝒟𝒶𝒹 𝓈𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝓊𝓎 𝑔𝒾𝒻𝓉𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓇𝓎.” “𝑀𝒶𝓇𝓇𝓎?” 𝐼 𝓌𝒽𝒾𝓈𝓅𝑒𝓇. “𝒴𝓊𝓅!” 𝒮𝒽𝑒 𝑔𝓇𝒾𝓃𝓈. “𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝐼 𝑔𝓇𝑜𝓌 𝓊𝓅, 𝐼’𝓂 𝑔𝑜𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓇𝓎 𝓎𝑜𝓊.” “𝐼’𝓂 𝓀𝑒𝑒𝓅𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓂𝓎 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓂𝒾𝓈𝑒,
Like this book put me through it I was on the floor crying and then Aiden was being all soft and cute and I was kicking my feet, what is wrong with me.
Finally I want to say this book is not for the weak, it is a lot more graphic with more descriptions of injuries and detailed trauma compared to the first 2 books, so if the first 2 books were hard or getting to a braking point I do not recommend reading this one because there were a few points I had to take a minuet and regroup before I could continue especially during the dreams and flashbacks
