I reread this book as part of a reading challenge and I'm really glad I did. This book was better the second time around. I honestly forgot how arrogant Pat could be, and sometimes annoying but also how fucked up Tiffany can be. It's one of those books that you just never see a happy ending in until it actually kind of happens, whether that be the recovery part or the actual ending. People are screwed up sometimes and sometimes it helps when they know other screwed up people. Sometimes THAT is the silver lining.
