Bride by Ali Hazelwood

4.0

As a long time resident of the fantasy genre, specifically abo centered fiction (thank you fanfiction) and general vampire/werewolf territory (Thanks Twilight) this book was a nice surprise. Misery was challenging at time, as was Lowe
Spoiler(my god the man really had no idea how to use technology how did he survive)

Overall I think they were a good match and the TENSION. He should've been honest from the beginning though, and he did try to share more than he probably should have with his new vampire bride, but he didn't share all his secrets that she deserved to know. But sometimes ya gotta cause that conflict for the plot, and it worked great. Smut was decent, though I'd say there could've been more of it (but I'm a freak I cannot lie that shit SLAPS). Would kill to see a sequel of them or those mentioned at the end ;)

4.5/5 rounded down because I'm not in love with the book but it was fantastic, would relisten.
