The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
5.0
Don't you wish you were here?
I do actually. And I'm sad I already finished this book. Could definitely have read 400 more pages on these lovely characters.
The storyline and characters do remind me of 'Under The Whispering Door' and I'm happy I read that one first. It made me look forward to reading 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' and I'm quite pleased with myself for waiting to read the book now, while I'm at home, being comfortable instead of trying to read it while travelling or while being frustrated by everything and everyone around me. It truly is a story like a warm blanket, like a cuddle from your dog, like a hot beverage when it's raining outside. Moreover, I preferred the characters from this story above the ones in 'Under The Whispering Door' because I could envision them better in my head.
This will definitely be a re-read in the future.
