Simply not for me. I’m glad to have read it, but I didn’t like it. I do not have a great track record with poetry in general and this is a great example of that. This entire collection went completely over my head. I had no idea what was going on 99% of the time. I think it’s likely because my experience as a person of a completely different identity did not allow me to grasp what was being discussed. Please take this with a grain of salt, I’m definitely an outlier!
