I'm on the fence

I'm not sure how I feel about this story. I like the concept. It could be that the graphic audio I listed to was a little much with the background noise or maybe I'm finally over the bully genre. While I am curious enough to try book 2 I have yet to connect with any of the characters. And so far the world building is meh.
