Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, Vol. 13 by Yuji Kaku
4.5
4/5 Stars (%83/100)
This is my rating for this specific volume as well as the whole series. First of all, this volume was good and I think it did a good job wrapping the series up and tying up loose ends. As expected, there were a lot of deaths but those who still live are much different than their previous selves. Though it has some flaws, I would definitely recommend Jigokuraku. Seeing my favorite characters survive was also a blessing. The characters are very well-written in my opinion. The story is interesting enough to make you continue to read. The art style and character designs are great. The fight scenes are well-written and drawn and feel realistic. The mythological and religious symbols were great as well. It is pretty dark and that's one of the reasons why I liked it in the first place. I'm glad I decided to read the manga before waiting for the anime to end. I would love to collect the books and add them to my collection.
