I was really looking forward to this novella. We didn't see Lilith much in The Ashes of the Star-Cursed King but she really intrigued me. I wanted to know more about her.

Thankfully we were blessed with this novella. It shows Lilith's background and how she came to meet Vale.

I loved Lilith so much. I loved her personality and I really hope we get to see more of her in the future. I also really liked seeing more of her and Vale's relationship and how they came to be.

I fell like this novella was a great way of finding out just enough backstory for these characters. A huge book on its own may have been too much.
