Spoilers, but I was vibing pretty well until the Big Bad showed up in the last 3 pages to loudly announce his evil plan and his motivations, including a character that could have been a mystery but instead was immediately identified as one of the wolves who showed up earlier. Why couldn't you let me guess? Why couldn't you reveal this stuff more organically in the next book? You don't trust my intelligence, Mr. Klune? Come on.
