This was a rough read, but I really think it's worth it. A middle school book from a bully's point of view about what it means to be a good person. It doesn't excuse her actions, but she's not a cartoon villain either. I read the afterword about the author confronting her own middle school bullies to write this story, and I think everyone involved was really brave.
Graphic: Bullying
Moderate: Body shaming, Panic attacks/disorders, and Toxic friendship
Minor: Racism, Antisemitism, Car accident, and Death of parent
