I finished ALL MY RAGE a few days ago, and since then I’ve been thinking about how impactful Tahir’s words have been on me.
This isn’t so much of a book review but more a reflection because I don’t yet have the words to write a review. I am utterly blown away by this book!
I read both the physical version and audiobook version when I couldn’t sit down to read. I would highly recommend listening to the audio version, as it’s narrated by a fantastic cast.
I think everyone should read this book! It gives us such a powerful view of how our choices not only impact ourselves but also the people around us. At times we all can feel lost and unable to determine how to accomplish a specific goal. Anxiety, stress, grief, and fear are emotions that we ALL experience in our lives. Sometimes those emotions make it difficult for us to see the best path forward. We are all flawed. But it’s how we learn from those mistakes and persevere through situations that make us who we are.
The alternating narrations by Misbah, Noor, and Salahudin will tug at your heartstrings. You’ll feel many emotions throughout this book, so it’s important to be ready for the heavy content. Also, check content warnings!
Please read this book! I promise you’ll be glad you did.
