Blindsided by Amy Daws
4.0
I am a sucker for a sports romance, don't know why, but they just give me the warm & fuzzies. This was my first Amy Daws book and I liked it! Friends to lovers can be a tricky trope, but I thought this one was thought out. I loved the plus size representation.
I did feel some parts of this book dragged out a bit, and I did not like Freya body shaming herself so much in the book, which also fed into her inexperience.
The banter between the two main characters was enjoyable and I liked that there was a bit of groveling - on the same hand, Mac did say some pretty horrid things to Freya, borderline unforgivable.
