The audiobook was definitely the way to go imo. I enjoyed the story way more than just consuming it with my eyeballs.
I still didn't believe Reid's and Lou's love though, there was no subtleties to infer that they were catching feelings.. it all just seemed so sudden and out of no where to me.
I do very much like the concept, but I think the execution could have been better.
Both characters are kinda A-holes so I guess they deserve each other.
Lou is a stubborn, strong kind of woman until it's needed the most, then she's a cliche damsel in distress. Hated that.

I respected Reid and he was pretty sweet and kind most of the time, but he still had a stick up his ass.
I will be continuing just because I want to read Scarlet Veil and some point this year.
