This was one of those books I’ve wanted to read for years but never found the time to do so—until now. I felt like I was reading an anime, the essence of many video games, and even other books.

The author took his time to give each of the 42 students a moment in the spotlight, which I found very unique. Each one had their own story to tell, doubts to wrestle with, passions to explore, and a range of emotions to experience on that island.

It was a read that never felt long; on the contrary, the balance between calm moments and action was very well done. Now I have the task of finding out if the author has written more gems like this one.

Este fue uno de esos libros que he querido leer desde hace años y no sacaba el momento para hacerlo, hasta ahora. Sentí que leí un anime, la esencia de muchos videojuegos y hasta de otros libros. 

El autor se tomó su tiempo para darle protagonismo a cada uno de los 42 estudiantes y eso me pareció muy único de su parte. Cada uno tenía su propia historia para contar, dudar, apasionarse, y sentir de todo en esa isla. 

Fue una lectura que en ningún momento se sintió larga, al contrario, el ritmo entre calma y acción estuvo bien balanceado. Ahora tengo la tarea de buscar si el autor ha escrito más joyas como esta.
