Definitely the best piece of literature on war I've ever read. Harrowing and incredibly detailed story that first goes into the "minor detail" of the torture and death of a young Palestinian woman, and then how the story has affected others in the future.

I think the horrific effects of a war are so much harder to ignore or brush over with stories like this. Ones that focus in on smaller stories of depravity and the brutal consequences of these conflicts. I will be thinking about this story for a long time.
