Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert
5.0
Talia Hibbert, what can’t you do at this point? This book was everything I wanted. This is just proof that enemies to lovers in YA romance is way better than in adult romance. The progression of Celine and Brad’s relationship to childhood best friends to enemies to friends to lovers was so much fun to read about. I think what i liked most about this book was the banter and how these two were great on their own and amazing together. Brad being this mushy sweetheart and Celine not even believing in having a boyfriend like their dynamic was just so cute. Usually texting in YA books feel very adults not knowing how teens talk but it felt very authentic in this book. Hibbert wrote teenage characters who felt like real teenagers. This was just so fluffy and adorable. The perfect YA contemporary! Talia Hibbert continues to impress me and I hope to see more YA books from her in the future.
