Really enjoyed the first 60% as it was a funny, easy read, but then the Irishness started to feel a bit overdone and the plot was non-existent. This would’ve been better as a short story as I was a bit tired of it by the end of it.
I also couldn’t stand John or the constant mentioning of him.
Doubt I’ll read the rest of the series but the writing is very witty and relatable for any Irish person.
