I found the first half a bit boring because it’s mostly an internal monologue about the main character’s life. However, I became more engaged once she finally started interacting with the love interest. I’m a sucker for a story where feelings are confessed through a game, and that aspect of this novella really stood out to me. Plus, the steamy scene was excellent.
