A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
second read december 2018:
i just really enjoy this little book!
it’s such a nice little addition to a pretty brutal and violent story. it’s nice to have this softer, slower and calmer add on to show that all those character can be that way too.
also i think it’s a beautiful winter setting and a really nice “christmas”/ winter solstice evening with all of them.
is t necessary for the trilogy? does it add anything at all?
no!
but who cares?
i really enjoyed reading it during december and i am pretty sure - if i remember!- i will do t again next year!
first read june 2018:

This was beautiful! And such a perfect ending for the ACOTAR trilogy/part/thing with Feyre and Rhys!
I loved how short this was, because compared to the ACOWAR (which i just finished reading before reading this one) it was such a light and easy but fun read to have.
I love Maas' writing and i love those characters and it was beautiful to see them a bit more relaxed, and just coming together to basically celebrate Christmas.
I do understand why so many people complained about this book, that it was unnecessary and just a money maker and just written because fans wanted Maas to write another little something with those characters... but you know what? I enjoyed it because it was exactly that!
It was fun and easy and lovely and i enjoyed every second of it... and lets be real here... who wants anything else from reading?
So for me it was perfect!
And i already know that especially this book - if not all the books will be re-read towards the end of the year, so that i can re-experience this book when i am also surrounded by the snow and cold and have the perfect atmosphere to fit this!
I loved it!
