God of Ruin by Rina Kent
5.0
4.75/5⭐️
Take a deep breath. In. Out. In. Out. In. Out. In—sorry guys, I’m just freaking out over here because God of Ruin is now out!
So let’s start off with what this book is about. Mia, who is a mafia princess, is getting revenge on Landon for kidnapping her brother, Nikolai. She is successful, but also not at the same time. She successfully gets her revenge, but she leaves with Landon’s attention and interest. Something she does not want. From then on, he becomes more and more obsessed with her and calls her his “muse.” Landon, who is an emotionless, psycho sculptor, becomes obsessed with Mia from day one and struggles with letting things go after she gets her revenge. Mia challenges Landon every step of the way and he always meets her challenges.

Rina Kent smashed this book out of the ballpark like she always does. I know Landon is her favorite, so I was really excited to see how she wrote him going into this book. Rina did not disappoint. I understood Landon so much better in his book. He struggled with many things because he’s different than the other characters. He’s basically like Killian and I enjoyed seeing those two react because of how much they don’t like each other. I was laughing so hard in the part 2 epilogue. I love how sweet Landon is with Mia. Despite not feeling emotions, he makes a true effort to give Mia what she deserves and that will forever warm my heart. I will say God of Malice is still my favorite, but I was still obsessed with and loved God of Ruin too.
