I listened to this on Audiobook and I have to say the narration was so intense I had to walk away often. However, I really understand the vitriol and venom that loomed between the characters through their voices. When I was overwhelmed, I tried to visualize how the words might soften on the page.

I'm giving 4 stars but I'm also wondering how much of the stars go to narrative impact and not the actual story. Maybe I'll read this one someday.
