Yeah, I somehow hadn't heard of Sam Irby before now and I've been spending the last few weeks mainlining everything she's written so far from the library (and finding her first book remaindered at another store so yay). Bless her ability to make me straight up laugh my ass off, which, admittedly, not that helpful to the partner who is sometimes sleeping next to me when I read her (love you honey!), but he loves hearing the excerpts. Good shit, some of these are clearly recycled listcicles, but man, I'd find a way to reuse those wherever possible too once I'd gotten those out.
