PROS:
- The writing is exquisite. It’s lose-yourself-in-the-story beautiful.
- Good character development for lovable (and hateable!) characters
- The ending had my heart racing / hands sweating / all the feelings a murder mystery makes you feel
- chapter titles!!! This is trivial but I just love when chapters have titles
CONS:
- it is SLOWWWW up until the last third or so. This wasn’t an issue for me - personally I loved really sinking in to this world - BUT I recognize that for most people this is definitely a con.
- Questionable age gaps between teenage love interests that I felt were unnecessary,, the same effect could have been achieved with smaller age gaps
Minor: Domestic abuse and Sexual assault
