a funny and fast-paced romance! This book had all the ingredients for an entertaining story. I could hardly believe how funny it was at times. It had me laughing out loud and experiencing intense second-hand embarrassment on behalf of Sophie. Now that’s a character who embodies the “wrong timing” saying very well. 😂
Although there were some really good moments, I have to say the name-calling part which happened several times is one of the reasons of my rating. It just felt…odd and uncomfortable. The second reason would be the lack of explanation when it comes to certain plot/character elements. A character of another woman that had the stereotypically evil role with no substantial explanation.
It was an entertaining and fast read, though, with several funny moments.
