I read this one in one day like the others, or rather, listened to the audiobook version of this one while doing chores around the house. This doesn't affect my review of the book at all but holy cow is the guy who reads for the audiobook ANNOYING. Listening to the voices he does for Blackjack was just about enough to get me to stop listening and switch over to reading. Oh, and the racist undetermined Asian accent for Annabeth's step-mom... yikes.
Anyway, back to the book. This was always the one I stopped at and never read all the way through. I'm glad I powered through and just finished it because the ending was so good and exciting. I loved Zoe and I also am excited to see what happens with Bianca and Nico. All of the plot-twists featured around them was very unexpected and exciting and I'm hoping the fourth book doesn't waste any time explaining what's going on with them.
I thought Thalia would have a little bit of a bigger part since it seemed like she was a huge deal but I guess not. Or maybe! Maybe more in the following books, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
