No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy

5.0

This is an excellent book—an interesting story with compelling characters, and very easy to read. I watched the film adaptation in college and enjoyed it, but over the years, I had forgotten much of the plot, and so I’m glad I decided to revisit the story. The story itself is not only entertaining, but also gives readers a lot to think about; topics like morality and the reality of a changing world are highlighted throughout.

This is the third book I’ve read by Cormac McCarthy, and I’m learning to like and appreciate him and his unique style more and more.
