Well that was super sad. You definitely get warned at the beginning of the book but oof. All the sads.
When I started reading Solitaire, I didn’t know that this was Alice’s first book and her first “entry” into the Heartstopper realm. All I knew was that Tori was one of my favorite side characters and I wanted to read this since it was centered on her. And wow. Didn’t realize how chaotic and different this story would be. Lol. I enjoyed Tori’s depressing inner monologues for the most part. But I wanted to know more about Michael and we just don’t get that in this book or in HS Volume #5. He seems like such a compelling character like why is he angry all the time? What happened to him? But I guess we’ll never know.
