This was such a great book. I wish I'd picked it up far sooner, but it was so popular that I thought it would be another one-dimensional romance. What it was was a fast-paced, dark yet comical (due to the telepathy and the dragons, who were hilarious) high fantasy romance. Every time I was worried there'd be a cliché, the author twisted it into something far more interesting. This is a big, thick book, but it certainly didn't feel that way as I read half of it in one sitting. Looking forward to book 2.
