This book was very unexpected. I went in thinking it was a love story, and got a moving and gripping story of life and trauma. It is so full of heart and intensity. I read it in one day... less than that. It is gripping and interesting.
We follow the story of a girl who becomes a woman as she comes to terms with trauma in silence. The character development was wonderful. The story was written so thoughtfully.
I have already found every other book by Brittainy C. Cherry because I am thrilled to be continuously pulled in with her writing.
