This was just not my jam. Most of the story concepts I actually did really like, but they weren't executed well enough to me. Something about the writing just felt off. It's overly descriptive and reads somewhat detached and robotic with characters that felt pretty hollow. The 9/11 reveal in the last story also felt like a Reddit meme.
I also hated the Jinx story. It depicts an very graphic gang rape, and it didn't feel like there was any reason for the story. The ending is bleak, and I didn't feel like there was any underlying meaning or message to gain from it. It was basically just, here's some trauma, and that's it. I was actually feeling very meh about the book as a whole until this story. It immediately tanked the book for me.

Graphic: Rape
The Jinx story is literally just a depiction of violent gang rape. The ending is bleak and the entire story is just trauma. It has a pretty graphic depiction of the rape, and I can definitely see it being extremely triggering for someone who's experienced that.
