If this came out in 2012 and I read it when it came out I probably would have eaten it up. I did not predict every twist and turn but there’s one that I waited the entire book for and got. It was a fun read, but I didn’t particularly care for any of the characters because everything felt like it was being told rather than shown. It’s a wonderfully structured work because of the short chapters so it made it easy to get through with a TikTok attention span.
