This romance was too cute! The story takes place in a small town that has an annual Renaissance Fair. Emily is a woman who doesn't have any roots, and Simon is a man tangled up in his roots. Emily is roped into the ren fair by her niece, but falls in love with it almost instantly. And the reader falls right along with her. The setting and set up are creative and unique. The romantic aspect did not feel forced, and while there was an element of misunderstanding, it was mostly Emily not believing in herself. But the resolution was worth it, and Emily got more than romance out of it.
