The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz

4.0

While I don’t think that the plot of the book within the book was entirely unique and groundbreaking, as it’s supposed to be, it was still intriguing, as was the overall plot of the actual book. It raised some interesting questions of morality and ownership. My only criticisms were that I didn’t find the characters especially sympathetic and didn’t care about them all that much (perhaps because the focus was the plot?), and that I saw all the twists coming from a mile away. Also, the ease with which Jake was able to dig up information was a bit unbelievable. But I did appreciate the double (triple?) meaning of the title in the last few chapters.
