It was interesting, and more of a fairytale than you could ever imagine; not just in its nature but also in its storytelling. It only shines light upon certain moments like how a fairytale would. Although, it is more troublesome in most parts than an actual fairytale, it is how it differs from most of the fairytales. I can also see the likeness of Koschei and Marya Morevna to Hades and Persephone. Although it hit too close to home, admittedly, that was a very nice touch.
