If you are not a fan of Delhi or Dalrymple, you will be, after you read this masterpiece. This book does a fabulous job of bringing to light the unseen facets of Delhi and in the process also doing the difficult task of chronicling the history of the city. The book makes the reader wish that they were a part of the author's journey of discovering Delhi.
