The Walk by Richard Paul Evans

3.0

A young man in his 30s loses his wife, his company, and virtually everything of material importance in one tragedy. How should his spirit respond and hopefully recover? Here is a supremely easy to read novel of coping with unexpected grief and betrayal. A long walk from Seattle to Key West begins, to be followed along in subsequent books. Along the way he meets people who leave him with spiritual insights. While not an overtly Christian book, it definitely covers spiritual topics such as finding meaning and purpose for one's life and healing when life throws you a serious curve ball.

This author writes accessible, easy to read, gentle-toned books and is one of the leading authors of this genre.
