I loved this. It is such a sweet story, with such evocative artwork. I knew Japan lagged way behind in terms of LGBTQ acceptance--I think this book is really going to raise people's awareness. Kana's wholehearted love of her uncle Mike reminded me of being a child, and how much I loved all of my aunts and uncles. Even those whose politics, as adults, are so abhorrent to me. I can't wait for volume 2.
