For such a dark book, “Cleopatra and Frankenstein” was really fun to read! I found the writing style to be really engaging, and the book is darkly funny. Centered around the toxic marriage of Cleo and Frank, “Cleopatra and Frankenstein” explores love, friendship, and substance abuse in New York City. This book is very quotable, and I ended up loving all the fairly screwed up characters.
