Terminus of the Walking Dead without the zombies. The book was promising in the first half as it laid out its dystopian landscape but the dull dialogue, the lack of motivation for the characters to do what they do, the lack of interesting characters, make it feel like a retread of much better books like Atwood's trilogy...or the Walking Dead for that matter! I lost interest about 20 pages from the finish line when the stakes were supposed to be highest. When your plot derives tension simply from characters not talking to each other for no apparent reason or having a basic conversation that would take about 2 mins you have lost me!
