Heartless by Elsie Silver

This is my fourth Elsie Silver book and I finally can say that I loved one of her books. Cade and Willa have intense chemistry from the very beginning and while it takes a bit of time for things between them to heat up, the tension is fantastic and the angst of Cade trying to resist is top-notch. Also, when things get steamy, they get really steamy. Willa is such a wonderful character, she is quirky and fun but also so compassionate and caring. A new favorite female character.
The relationship between Willa and Luke, who is Cade's son was the most adorable part of this book, I loved seeing how this boy, who was so hurt by his mom leaving him, falls in love with Willa and how she adores him in return. It really melts my heart. Also, I still love family dynamics with the side characters.
My only minor issue with this is that the conflict at the end felt a bit unnecessary, the resolution felt rushed and it feels like this could have been shorter.
