First story was surprising, after that is felt like more of the same. I didn't like it that the protagonists were nameless, I couldn't really feel for them that way. I know it was probably done to make these women represent the whole of womanhood but it just doen't work for me. 
Also: it didn't feel like 'stories about strong women' it felt like ' stories about overwhelmed women, realising they need to be strong'.
