This is a masterpiece of poetry. My only issue with it is that I wish it had some sort of footnotes or references in the back for people, like me, who aren't hockey fans. I had to consult Wikipedia a lot.

Maggs' poetry is very raw and human. I suspect it will be even better on a second read. It's poetry that deserves to be taken slow.
