I LOVED this book. So much so I actually forgot I’d finished it and picked it back up after a day out because I was so heavily invested in the story that I couldn’t fathom there not being more to read.

I do agree with some of the reviews that felt it was a slow start and I wasn’t in love from the first page. But the more I read, the more hooked I was. I really liked the characters, although I perhaps felt their back stories were slightly underdeveloped in the sense that past events weren’t described in quite as much detail as I’d have liked but it really didn’t matter. And that ending! I NEED the sequel right now. I’m already so excited for my reread ahead of book two coming out next year.
