Wow!!! Just wow. I have to say that was one of the best debut novels I have read in a while. I was sent this book by OfTomes Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Like the synopsis says it is chalk full of secrets. For this being Laura's first published novel the writing is amazing and I only see her getting even better in the future. The main character Riga Garrison was so well developed and probably one of the best main characters I have read about this year. She is independent, brave, fierce, and loyal but at times her vulnerability shows which in this case is not a bad thing. I honestly loved all the characters except for a select few but I will let you read the book to come to your own conclusions on that. There were three characters that I absolutely fell in love with and cant wait to carry on with there story. The world building was on point. I could clearly visualize everything as she described it. I especially loved the luge. I think that would be such an exhilarating ride. This book had me hooked from the prologue and kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end with all the twists. I read this in less than 24 hours it was so good. I honestly don't feel like I can do this book justice with anything I write. It is one of the best books I have read this year and I HIGHLY recommend you read it.
