maybe the best book i’ve ever read. incredible writing and storytelling, gut-wrenching yet funny yet sweet. i absolutely loved this book and michelle’s exploration of dying, grief, identity, and family, and i adored all the details about food throughout the book. using cooking as a connection to her mother and her Korean identity and a as continuation of her mother’s life/legacy was beautiful to read about. so so good.
