The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body by Cameron Diaz

I mean, nothing about this book is particularly bad. I don't really have the foggiest idea why I decided to read it. It was somehow absolutely fine as a basic book with an overview of body and nutritional science, but that's not something I need in my life, because I have read a lot more in depth research about stuff. The tone was friendly and conversational, but not so much so that it stood out as a health book that is fun nor as a serious science book, so that's too bad. It was pretty nondescript. So whatever, I guess. If you like lady magazines, this is worth a read. If you like in depth research, not so much. If you like a distinct voice in your nonfiction, this is not for you either.
