After reading the miniaturist and not enjoying it at all, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this one.

I was pleasantly surprised by a superb book from beginning to end!!

Captivating from page 1, with strong characters that I felt connected to. There was an element of mystery, storytelling and flipping between past and present.

I honestly can’t fault it... highly recommend.
