Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Really surprised how much I enjoyed this book. I am an 80's gal being both a teenager then young adult during the 80s but I am not a big video fan... although I did own atari and played for hours like everyone else.. and donkey Kong was fun. I was just a little surprised I was sucked into a book about playing a video game. I think it was more the holodeck feel to it that had me going and the quest for the crystal egg- end of the world apocalypse kind of/kind of not, story. Who wouldn't be sucked into that. Plus I enjoyed trying to figure out the clues and was surprised I was on the right trail to more than one of the clues. Really enjoyable audiobook loved Wil Wheaton narrated it... WAS that ON PURPOSE Ernest Cline???? Was that another Halliday obsession!??!?! If so.. Love it. Burn the midnight oil listening to it, and it wasn't because my bed was burning.
